A Structured, Supportive Start to Every Day

At Haywards Farm School, we believe that a calm, predictable routine helps every pupil feel safe and ready to learn. Our school day is carefully structured to provide consistency, while remaining flexible enough to meet the individual needs of every child.

School Hours

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am to 3:00pm; Friday: 9:00am to 1:00pm. Every Friday we close the week with our Haywards Farm Celebrations Assembly, a special time to recognise the achievements and efforts of our pupils.

Arriving at School

When pupils arrive each morning, they are welcomed and offered a light breakfast. This settled start gives every child the opportunity to transition into the school day calmly before meeting with their teacher to prepare and plan their learning.

Individual Timetables

We understand that no two children learn in the same way. Timetables are tailored to each pupil’s needs and may include movement breaks and personalised programmes to support engagement, wellbeing and progress throughout the day.
